Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Drew Dahlsten and I am from a little town in Kansas. I suppose if you’re clicking on the “About Me” section then you probably want to know some things about me so I will oblige.
I am from Kansas, yes, but have been in Georgia since September of 2016 and was on my World Race from September of 2016-July of 2016.
I love music and if you were to ask me where my passion lies that is where I would direct your attention. I love to listen to music but my real passion is in playing and singing. I have channeled this desire by playing in churches and at youth camps primarily. I love how music can cross language barriers to connect people.
I hold a strong belief that Batman is the best superhero. Sorry dad, but it’s not Superman. Being invincible is cheating. Also kryptonite.
I think that reading, and a love for reading, has become lost among the youth of today and that makes me pretty sad. I still love to read though and that makes me happy.
I love games! Strategy games and anything with a ball are my favorite but I’ll try about anything.
I have a love of Disney movies that has only grown stronger since childhood. Animated movies are for adults just as much as they are for children.
I love puns. I love hearing them and I love making them. And if you don’t then I sincerely apologize because I don’t know how to stop.
I know that I am not unique in saying this but I feel like it’s important. The original Star Wars trilogy will always be exponentially better than movies 1, 2, and 3. Always. Also I wish that Jar Jar Binks had never happened.
Sweet tooth. I have it. Even though it is better now than when I was younger it is still dangerous to have sweets around the house.
My family is very important to me. But not just my immediate family. I am very close with my extended family which makes life that much sweeter.
Chocolate milk is a wonderful beverage. Probably the most wonderful.
I love the state of Colorado. If you haven’t been I am very sorry for you.
Being outside is how I relax. Give me sun, a little breeze, a hammock, and a good book to read. Alternatively, a good trail to hike.
I like writing so having a blog is actually kind of fun for me. Hopefully you enjoy the things you read as much as I enjoy writing them.
