Where to begin? Tuesday is travel day, so we say goodbye to Romania and to Europe, and head to Africa – Malawi specifically. That means that we are one quarter of the way through our continents… Somehow it doesn’t feel that way. It seems like we just got started. Which we did, we only are two months in, but there is something strange about saying that we’re leaving a continent behind.
Team Galene got eased into the Race with Team Intrepid at LightForce for month 1. Then we had All Squad Month at Hope Church for month 2. Both were excellent experiences, and for the last two months I have had the opportunity to grow in relationship with God as well as in community with my brothers and sisters in Christ. But there is something exciting, almost mysterious about heading into Africa for month 3 – the first month that Galene will be ministering alone. And what better place to dive in than Mzuzu Pentecostal Church?
Only God knows what the next month holds. Or the next one after that. Or the two continents beyond. But with every moment, I grow in confidence as I learn to trust that He is walking in front, behind, and alongside as we go. So next time you’re worried about the future, take that first step in faith, and watch God show up. Because He will. In a big way.
