Hello, friends! This is the part of my blog where I am supposed to write about myself. The first thing that anyone should know about me is that I am nothing without the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, my King and my friend. But, since I am supposed to write about me, I suppose I will play along so you can get to know me a little.
I live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with my parents and two younger brothers, Mark and Ben.
I grew up as a missionary kid in Moscow, Russia. I am a city-boy and a third-culture kid.
I have been to 15 different countries.
The Dark Knight Rises is pretty muchthe best movie. Ever.
I love being outside! Beach, mountains, forest, anything! I take my ENO hammock with me pretty much wherever I go.
I drive an old blue Ford Explorer. Her name is Dora.
Kids are the coolest thing ever.
I have an obsession with peppermint milkshakes from Chick-fil-a.
I enjoy playing pretty much all sports, though I’m not especially good at any. I love Ultimate Frisbee!
My favorite book of the Bible is Romans!
I don’t play any musical instruments and I don’t sing very well…BUT if a Disney song is on, I’m singing as loud as I can!
In school I am known for my long red beard. Some friends call me the Ginger Beard Man!
God has given me a heart for missions in the past several years. In Matthew 28 Jesus commanded us to “Go and make disciples.” I take that command very seriously. And that’s why I’m going on the World Race Gap Year!
