Our journey has begun.  We have just landed in Qatar for a 6 hour layover before we head to Kenya.  This was the first time I had ever been on a flight for 12 hours, and it was a struggle but I made it.

This past week we have been in Washington D.C. finishing up some last minute training and worshiping.  It has been great to see everyone again, and it seems like just the other day we were finishing up training camp.  We have been staying at the Virginia Theological Seminary (www.vts.edu) the past few days. They were kind enough to let us stay there for nearly free of charge, though we were camping out on the front lawn the whole time in our tents.

My first task as one of the logistics leaders was to get everyone from Dulles airport on Tuesday afternoon back to the Seminary.  The only way to do this was by bus, then the metro and another bus, all during rush hour.  At first things where very overwhelming but I feel the Lord kept showing up at the right time and everything went just as planned.
