Hope you enjoyed the video of our tramping! Food rations were low, bag weights were high, but we all had a great time. Here’s something to think about for today….
During our tramp sometimes we would play a game we called “How far would you walk for…” and fill in the blank. Sometimes it would be a large pizza with all your favorite toppings or maybe (in my case) a batch of 2 dozen cookies, you get the point. Depending on how far we had hiked that day and how small our meals had been we might exclaim “Ten miles!” So… how far would YOU walk for a juicy cheeseburger or a milkshake? If you’re reading this from America, your answer is probably alot less. Maybe something like 10 feet…the distance from your car to the door of McDonalds. Just a friendly reminder about how blessed we westerners are and how the way we live is most DEFINITELY not how the rest of the world lives.
Tune in tomorrow for the final part of our tramping series!
