Drew’s ministry
This project has been deemed man-istry and will be an awesome time for all 14 guys on our squad to spend time pouring into each others’ lives. Drew and the guys will be roughing it in a rural town where there are only a handful of Christians. They will be doing an array of things together including working at a church, leading Bible studies, and construction. Please be praying for unity among the M Squad men and that they would not feel insignificant in their ministry. Working in a place with such a heavy Buddhist influence can be both spiritually and physically tiring. Pray for the men to not feel discouraged by this but instead depend on the Lord for their strength.
Erin’s ministry
The girls from team Ridiculous will be working with the girls from team Fullness of One. Together they will be heading south to Phuket where they will work through S.H.E. Ministries, an organization that works with girls in the sex trafficking industry. Their aim is to show love to the thousands of prostitutes that work in Phuket against their will; a new kind of love that they have never experienced. Please pray for the girls to be protected, especially in the spiritual realm – Satan has a huge stronghold here that they will be battling against daily. Also pray for the women to have supernatural energy and love. The ministry here includes prayer walking and worship during the day, but interacting with the people doesn’t start until 9p.m. They will need to be able to be loving even when they are running on empty at 2a.m.
