Hi, I’m Drew! I grew up in the small town of Durant, Oklahoma with my parents and my little brother. My parents have played a huge role in making me the man I am today. They took us to church and helped us get plugged in at a young age. I gave my life to Christ in middle school, but it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I really began to know God intimately. After high school God gave me the opportunity to stay in Durant and play football for Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I grew so much in my first year of college and that’s when God started leading my heart towards ministry. I served as an intern for the youth group at my church for 2 summers. I also led worship and served at the BCM at Southeastern.

Right now I work at Feed The Children in the accounting department. It’s been amazing for me to see how God has provided me with a great job that is giving me incredible experience. I know that God has put me here for a reason and my time here will be very beneficial in my future. I love working with and getting to know people, especially helping those in need.

Hi, I’m Erin! I also grew up in a small town – Choctaw, Oklahoma. Growing up it was just my mom and I so we have always been very close. I learned a little about Chrisianity when I was young by occasionally going to church, but it wasn’t until I was in middle school that I became interested in what it meant to truly be a Christian. I gave my life to Christ when I was still fairly young, but it took me a few more years to realize the Lordship of Christ in my life. I fell in love with Christ and I am forever grateful for the grace he has shown me every day of my life. We didn’t always have alot, but looking back I could never have asked for more. I was loved unconditionally by my mom and even moreso by my God. I think what the world may have seen as a “lack” was really what God used as an opportunity for us to rely completely on Him. During high school and my first few years of college, God allowed me to experience so many things and meet so many amazing people that have shaped me into the person I am today! I’m now 22 and I’m in my last year of school at the University of Central Oklahoma where I row…go Bronchos!

I am passionate about people – I think diversity is one of the most beautiful, wonderful things in the world. God has used other people in my life to teach me alot about myself. I’ve known for a while that what I really wanted to do with my life it simply work with people…whatever that may look like.

Us Together 🙂
On May 30th we will celebrate our 1 year anniversary! Our “story” is pretty unique (ask us about it sometime!) but we wouldn’t change it for the world! We are crazy about each other and we know that God created us especially for each other. We love doing anything we can together – working in the yard, doing projects, serving, exercising, studying, etc. We attend LifeChurch.tv in Oklahoma City and we feel very blessed to be a part of the ministry there. We both have some experience working in ministry separately, but we are looking forward to seeing God work through us together as we learn to serve Him as a couple. We are SO excited about The World Race and we know God has amazing things in store for us and our team!
