Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
It’s Mothers Day today,
And we love you!
We didn’t get you a gift,
Or even a card,
But Drew is thinking of you,
While he camps in a farm yard.
Erin is thinking of you too,
And she misses you a bunch,
If you were here,
We’d take you out for Thai lunch.
If we could we would hug you,
But we’re really far away,
If you were with us,
Please shower! is what you’d say.
The time difference is crazy,
We’re all out of whack,
We miss you more
Than our heavy, smelly pack.
Our clothes are not clean,
Nor is our hair,
But we know you still love us,
Because your love goes everywhere.
So on this special day,
Smile really big,
Because in 6 months we’ll be home,
Smelling like a pig!
