WHAT IS MY LIFE RIGHT NOW???

Almost everyday something happens in India where we find ourselves saying out loud- “What is my life right now?” Sometimes it’s something beautiful like loving on beautiful kids, the sick, the untouchable and knowing what a blessing it is! What an honor it is! Sometimes it’s the culture of having people gawk at you everywhere you go- even in your home to just have people come and stare for long amounts of time. Seriously, the
only white people I’ve seen, were 2 albino Indians. Sometimes it’s seeing God work miracles that are so out of this world you feel like when you share it, no one will believe you. Sometimes it’s bizarre things like being guest and eating at this party-and I had no idea it was a wedding until after we ate and went and saw the reception, or our team going to a birthday party for a little girl they never met and being part of the tradition as the
honored guest to each feed her a bite of birthday cake and her feed them a bite of birthday cake-like her hand to your mouth! haha. Or our team going to a wedding where our team also didn’t know the people but because are white, they placed the
team in the front of the church as special guest-and watching the first arranged marriage take place where in this case, looked like the couple were upset and looked more like they were being sold into slavery than celebrating getting married. Today was a bizarre, yet crazy awesome God day!

A week ago, actually while the man that I blogged about last was following us, I was walking quickly with the group already feeling tons of emotions. The market is loud and agressive. You are pushing yourself through crowds and then we have this man who wouldn’t leave us alone following us. So I was on a mission to get back into a tuk tuk and go back to our contact’s house. I’m walking and out of no where this man dressed like an Idol walks toward me and is right at my face in 2 seconds. I had never seen someone dressed like an idol before. He had many
colors and he had a monkey face mask on, a tail, and crown on his head. I didn’t interpret what he was at first, and my reaction was that of a 3 year old little girl who just saw a clown for the first time. It threw me for a loop, and I was terrified! My heart was pounding! Made me laugh at myself later for reacting like that, lol, but it was seriously shocking!

So today we are preparing to leave for ministry, and guess who walks in our church gates and walks half way to the church and just stops? Monkey man!!! We went out to talk to him and got to pray for him in the name of Jesus! He said his legs were hurting and so we prayed. We told him we are praying to Jesus Christ. He said after it felt better, but was still hurting. So we prayed again, and he said it was completely better. We told him
Jesus loves him and healed him. We prayed this man would be saved and radically changed.

Who knows what God will do with that or what seeds were planted, but I’m so amazed at the opportunity God has given us to pray for a man who is so obviously not for Him. God is so loving, so patient, and His love endures forever! He amazes me everyday! It feels surreal, and I guess that is because His love is supernatural! Pray you will seek and find Him today! 🙂
