Multesmec!!!!!

Romanian for THANK YOU!!!!!
(Main mode of transportation here in Romania… I’m not kidding)

This is just a quick update to share how my support raising has been. I have been overwhelming blessed by your generosity!! Every dollar matters and it’s been incredible to watch the Lord provide through your guys’ obedience to a call to partner with me!

At least once a day I stop, look around, and ask myself:

“Is this really your life?”

I wake up every morning with one purpose- to love God and make sure other people know how much God loves them. Whether that’s my team and the community He gave me to do this race with, or a beautiful gypsy woman down the street. Seek after the face of God and pursue the hearts He connects mine to. What a gift you’ve given me to live out the Gospel and put the great commission into action- distraction free for 1 year! Here’s an excerpt from a journal entry:

There are moments in our lives where we have to press pause and look around to make sure this is actually our life. That it’s not all a big dream or something we made up in our heads. Moments where things seem to swirl in slow motion and a soundtrack somehow plays in the background.

Thank you so much for making this life of obedience possible for me! This life of learning to hear God’s voice and go where he calls. Whether that’s stopping at a house as I walk down the street to Simona’s house, just cuz I feel like God’s calling me to love on the sweet old woman sitting out front… or whether it’s praying into where God’s calling our team next month.

SURPRISE… we are no longer going to Egypt! There’s quite a bit of controversy between the 90% muslim country of Egypt and Isreal. Something to do with an Israeli stamp on our passport? I’m not sure, all I know is now we’re doing an eastern Europe “ATL”. This means we pray as a team and “Ask The Lord” where he may be calling us. We haven’t the slightest clue where that may be yet… but God does, and I can’t wait to see what it is! Oh, and it looks like Jordan has now changed to Turkey for November… HA! Gotta love the World Race!! We have been living in this village with some fellow Racers that have been on the field for 9 months already and they have graciously bestowed on us some kind words of wisdom… one of which I have become quite fond of, as should you: Everything’s a lie til it happens.

I have been overwhelming blessed by your generosity!! Every dollar matters and it’s been incredible to watch the Lord provide through your guys’ obedience to a call to partner with me! As of date I have:

$11,567 in my account and pledged!!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

That means I am only $3,933 short of my total goal, which covers all my flights and insurance. Would you continue to pray with me as God lays it on peoples hearts to partner with us? I love you guys so much, thanks for being fellow sojourners with me! My friend Josh emailed me a quote that I’ll leave you with- it’s been resonating so much in my spirit these last few weeks:

It’s the adventure together we share.
It is the joy we have found in his calling.

Sojourners each of us upon this divine landscape, explorers of dangerous mysteries.
And even without the miracles, the journey would be enough.”
