Wow I can’t believe that another continent is finished. I would like to thank Romania and Moldova for 2 lovely months of the race. Europe was hard for so many different reasons. However, I have learned so much from both countries.

Romania– You have taught me to rest physically, and that it is okay to work hard. However, it is okay to take a break and enjoy the things around you, like getting apples from an apple tree, grapes from a vine and candy from a little shop down the road. I enjoyed the mountains with the fall coloring of the leaves. I loved living in a small village to help an elderly woman get ready for the winter season. I learned to love the train rides as transportation.  I have learned flesh vs. the spirit, and that I needed to let my flesh die and let my spirit be my true guide.

Moldova– I mean Transnistria, a country within a country. It has been fun with youth group on Saturdays and teaching English to the people. Even though they don’t like to smile it’s okay to be the first one to show it to the people. I have learned no matter what it’s okay to spread joy with a smile. I’ve learned that growing up speaking English and teaching others is different. I have realized that we have so many words for one meaning sometimes. Also thanks for teaching me it’s okay to laugh because sometimes someone else needs that push to laugh with you.

Thanks again Europe for two amazing months of growth!

Can’t wait to see what my Father has in store for me in Asia.
