This is our crew of Farmers from E Squad and our Head Farmer, Ramazan.  Ramazan is such an incredible man, he does this work with the pigs every day without complaint and is such a huge blessing to us esquaders.  The first day we got to the farm, he was pretty upset that they sent him a bunch of girls as he thought we would be too weak to complete the tasks ahead of us…. as you can see, he loves us now! Haha but really, I think we impressed him with our perseverance.  Praying that God would use us to demonstrate the love that Christ has for him this month so that one day he would grow curious of what its like to know Jesus and seek to have a personal relationship with him.

Every morning we begin our day by scrapping up the poop in the dozens of pig pens, then rinsing them all out.  Working with these ladies never gets boring!

Feeding the pregnant piggies!! Fun Fact: Pigs are pregnant for 3 months 3 weeks and 3 days before giving birth

Mixing the feed for the pigs is probably the most strenuous job, we take 50 kg about (110 lb) bags of corn, barley and oats and mix them before handing them out to the pens in the mornings.

“Ya Meh Fort” means “We are strong” in Albanian.  Ramazan gets quite a kick out of us repeating that to him all the time haha

Working on the Farm has been such a huge blessing this month.  Ive learned a lot about hard work, listening to God and trusting him to lead you instead of trying to lead him.  Thanks everyone for your support and love and encouragement!

Love, Drea
