Hey everyone! I am currently in Kathmandu serving with Agape ministries alongside team Nahala. Im am so excited for this month for a few reasons…
1) Nepal is GEORGEOUS…Snowcapped Mountains everywhere and the people are beautiful
2) I get to spend the month with team Nahala and they are just an incredible group of girls….ive already laughed SO much with them and cant wait to spend a Nepali Christmas with them! Also, two of the Nahala team members are from Brazil and Honduras so we’ve already talked about how this Christmas will incorporate American/Brazilian/Honduran/Nepali traditions haha.
3) Agape ministries has hands in so many areas of Kathmandu and has so many different outreaches that we get to be a part of! To name just a few….
We will be going into the streets of Thamel and talking with woman trapped in the sex trade industry
We will be taking day hikes with refugee kids from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Samalia etc…
We will be preaching sermons at church, sharing testimonies and leading bible studies
And we get to help put together and teach the Christmas program to all the kids in the church!
So, as you can see this is going to be an extremely busy month with a ton of different opportunities to share the gospel with the unreached here in Nepal. Also, next week marks our halfway point on The World Race…CRAZY!!! It has flown by so fast!! In fact, I have a friend that left on the race in January and his squad just finished and returned to America a week and a half ago…this is totally blowing my mind because it feels like he just left! Anyway, im sure my time will go just as fast and I would LOVE prayers to stay present and to soak up everything I possibly can. Love you all!
