Wow! I have been so amazed by the support I have received from you guys so far, thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement! If you feel God is leading you to partner with me financially here is the logistics of how you can do that, a financial breakdown of the $16,285 can be found on my blog post “financial breakdown…where does the $ go?”  Love you all and so excited to get started sending out support letters soon…if you’d like to receive a letter and prayer card for your refrigerator please message me your home address ๐Ÿ™‚

Also note that Your donations to Adventures in Missions whether online, via check or monthly donations are tax deductible based on the policies and principles detailed at www.adventures.org/policies.
Donate Online!

You can click the “Support Me” tab on the left hand side of my blog!

You can make a one-time donation (which unfortunately has a 3% processing fee), or set up a monthly donation and choose the start and end date.

Sending a donation in the mail:

Make checks payable to Adventures in Missions. *You must include “World Race Andrea Ruddock” on the Memo Line so they know to put it in my account

Mailing address: Adventures in Missions, PO Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570

This method usually takes 2 weeks before I will see it in my account, so if you do decide to go this route please send me a quick message letting me know so I can be on the look out for it ๐Ÿ™‚

A plus side to sending checks in the mail is that there is no processing fee! So, all of that money goes straight to supporting my race.

Monthly Donations via Dynapay:

You may give monthly through a website called Dynapay, here is the link: http://www.adventures.org/dynapay. There will be no processing fees for using this!

*make sure  you include an end date for the monthly donation

If you want to support me through the entire race the end date for financial contribution would be Jan 1, 2015 (6 months after we launch)

Donate to my expenses outside the field:

As many of you who have traveled a little before know, there are a lot of expenses in preparing to leave the country…some of these include vaccinations, passport expenses, travel to and from training camp, travel to departure city and arrival to US at the end of month 11.  If you would like to support me in covering one of these expenses or would like to donate gear for my trip please send a check/the gear to

                                                    Andrea Ruddock

                                               22722 Bowen Hall, NCSU

                                                  Raleigh, NC 27607

Gear needed (if you happen to have any of this lying around that you want to donate or want to get for me for Christmas haha):

-2 person free standing tent (

-water proof day pack

-sturdy sleeping pad (my mattress for a whole year) probably self inflating would be good…one Ive heard that has good reviews would be the Thermarest prolite sleeping pad

-sleep bag 20-35 degrees and lightweight/compact

-anything that I cant think of but you might think would be good to have especially if you have traveled to Asia, Africa or Europe before ๐Ÿ™‚

Lastly, My fundraising deadlines in case you want to know are:
