What a blessed week!! More painting, mopping, cooking, chainsawing, cementing and post hole digging!!
Let me tell you how my ministry is going and how God is always good!! The men started off the week painting benches for the upcoming women’s at risk conference. We painted a total of 9 benches. Right after we finished painting, it started to rain, thankfully not enough to ruin the paint work!! As it rained the rest of the day, we all swept the building and mopped the floors. It was more fun than it sounds. One of our hosts, Val, is a very animated man. So we never have a dull moment around him.
The next day we went out and took s chainsaw to cut down a bunch of brush, so we could have more parking for visitors. The chainsaw was not the best. The chain kept getting loose and coming off the bar. After many hours of sawing and quite a few cuts in my arms from thorn pickers, we got it done. Yesterday and today, we have been cooking and cleaning in the kitchen. It has been tons of dishes and lots of great samples!! Also, we dug post holes to cement post in for a fence. I’m so glad to be outside and helping our hosts out. Later today we are going to go see a new town!!!
My squad leader gave me a book to challenge myself this month and it has challenged me. The book he gave me is Ruthless Trust. In the first ten pages, it spoke so much truth into me. Putting full trust in God is not an easy task. I took up the challenge to grow my faith more. So I asked for a big prayer. I’ve been praying hard for my fundraising to go through the roof! God does not disappoint!! In this past week I’ve gone from $2001 from being fully funded to being $865 from being fully funded!!!! He has done so much work for me and my team! Thank you for reading this blog. God bless.
