Hi friends!
I am SO excited to announce that this July I will be embarking on an incredible journey. I will be leaving the comfort of my Ohio State life and going on The World Race, an 11 month long mission trip in 11 different countries. I am so incredibly blessed, excited, thankful, and slightly freaked out all at the same time. My heart so desires to travel the world and to see the beauty that God has wonderfully created.
However, this race isn’t about me. Yes, it is an incredible opportunity. Yes, I will grow immensely. And yes, I will make friendships and memories that will last a life time. But it still isn’t about me.
So why am I going? To serve the least of these. And ultimately, to bring glory to the God that has so closely carried and loved me. My desire is to see this world changed by the hope and love of a God who can save it. Yes, I am sure that this will be the most challenging experience of my life thus far, but it is worth it. So worth it.
This Race is not about Me, it’s about the Kingdom
So what will it look like to serve the least of these? Each country will be different. In one country we could be working with orphans, in another we could be working with human trafficking, education, or church planting. Please begin to pray for these countries as my squad prepares for our time spent there:
South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua
