We spent Month 5 in Chiang Mai, Thailand serving a ministry called Actsco. This ministry takes in recycled literature and Bible study material from the states, and ships it across Southeast Asia. We had the responsibility of organizing the material in a way that would make it more accessible. We were also able to keep whatever books and Bibles we wanted.
We also had the privelage of staying in Zion Cafe & Hostel. Zion is in the last transitioning phases of becoming AIM’s base in Thailand. Getting to live there for the month and join in prayer with the pioneer team was an awesome experience. Getting to see their ministry, and all of the time and effort they have put in to project was incredible.
Thailand was also sentimental for me because it was Team Atlas’s last month together. We spent the first five months of our race together, and leaving them was not easy. It was so evident that Chiang Mai was a blessing for us as a team, it made the transition much easier.
I love Chiang Mai, and I loved our ministry. Leaving Chiang Mai was not hard on me because I know I will be back.
Also, if you’re ever in Thailand and need a Song Tau or just want to meet an amazing person, call Mr. Kosin. He is the absolute best Song Tau driver you can find. He is an incredible man of God with an incredible testimony.
