Hello there! My name is Donovan McCloskey and you have successfully made it to my blog, congratulations! Let me tell you a little about my self.

I am currently a student at Indiana University studying Informatics with plans to graduate in May 2016. If you’re wondering what Informatics is don’t worry, you are not alone. At the simplest level it means I work with computers.

I grew up in Zionsville, IN a part of a great family that always pushed me to achieve my best. Throughout my early college years I was heavily involved with my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, holding multiple leadership positions such as Vice President. This past summer I worked at Kohl’s department stores head quarters in Milwaukee, WI as a software engineer and I had such a great experience working for such a great company. But recently I have decided to turn down my future at Kohl’s for the opportunity I have long been waiting for.

As you have probably noticed, I have signed up for the World Race October 2016 route! The countries I will be traveling to are India, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Botswana, South Africa, Swaziland, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru. And I can not tell you how excited I am.

I first heard about the World Race from a friend back when I was a sophomore in high school and ever since then it has always been on my mind. I am so excited to spread Gods love across the world and take a leap of faith to be challenged by God to grow in my relationship with him. I believe this is the direction God is calling for my life and I am ready to be a part of a generation that is sent out to bring Gods love to all nations.

If you have any questions at all about who I am or what the world race is please feel free to contact me anytime 317-626-5499. Thanks for checking out my blog and look forward to more post from me. God Bless!
