As you may have gathered, I’m on the World Race, and I launched out in January on route 2 with the rest of my brothers and sisters on V Squad. I’m so incredibly excited that this time is actually here – it seems like it’s been forever in the preparation stages!
Even after launch though, I still need help from all of you. Predominantly I need to raise $14,300 in support money to take part in the Race. If you’re interested in partnering with me financially, you can use the Support Me! link on the left which also includes instructions for supporting me by mail. Any amount will help, so don’t feel as though you can’t be part of God’s work because you don’t have much money. One hundred people supporting me with just $25 monthly for 6 months would completely fund my entire trip, so please ask God what He would have you donate.
Your prayers are also deeply appreciated – I’ll have specific requests in many of my blog updates, but I will always desire prayer for the people God is sending me to. I have no idea what I’ll be doing on the Race, but I will definitely be encountering people who need to hear the great news of Jesus Christ, so please continue to pray that God will put me in situations to minister effectively to them. Safety will be an ongoing concern on the trip as well, both physically and spiritually so please pray for that as well.
It’s hard to express in simple text how very excited I am about this trip! I have already seen God doing amazing things in the people He has called to the Race and our ministry on the field, and I can’t wait to see what else He has in store for us.
