All right, let’s get this party started!  I’m Don and I’m located (for now) in Omaha, Nebraska.  I’m 24 and I’m presently unemployed.  Now that we’ve got the boring stuff out of the way, let’s talk about something exciting!

I’ve lived in Nebraska my whole life, mostly small towns (and I’m sure there are some of you who would consider a city of half a million a ‘small town’)  and I fit just about every stereotype you can imagine.  I learned to drive a tractor  before I could drive a car, I spent 8 summers working in the corn fields, and I’ve got a heart as big as the prairie.  God has blessed me with a wonderful family and two little brothers of whom I couldn’t be more proud.  They’re likely to surpass me in every way (and as long as they don’t grow taller than me that’s just fine!)

I love big skies and mountains, and  am constantly in awe of the design God has put into everything around us.  I love cats and I love people, and I’m always laughing.  I’m a huge book nerd, but I’ll probably stare blankly at you if you start quoting a movie that’s not The Princess Bride

God has always been a part of my life since I came to Christ at a 5-day club when I was very little.  My parents are strong Christians and made sure we were all raised to honor God with our lives.  I was blessed to attend Christian schools through high school and God has given me many strong Christian friends and leaders to guide me to where I am today.  It hasn’t always been easy but God has never given up on me!
