What is the World Race?

The World Race is an 11 country, 11-month mission trip to share the love of Jesus and serve others around the world. Each month I will get to experience a new country and culture and serve those in need.

Why?

Throughout my life, I have been passionate about travel and languages. My junior year of high school, I decided to study abroad in Ecuador for the entire year to pursue my dreams of discovering the world. While there, I meet someone that was on the World Race. From the moment he explained what this journey was, I felt God’s call to go, and I knew that this was what I was destined to do.

I planned on going on the World Race after I graduated college and studying abroad for a semester in France with my university in 2019. But God had another plan for my life. The university trip was cancelled, and I felt lost. My mom said, “one door closes and another one opens,” but in that moment, those words were hard to hear. God had a better plan—The World Race. This experience of feeling lost taught me to rely on God’s plan, and not my own. I continue to grow in my faith, and this world race will be an exciting new step even further strengthen my trust in Jesus.

Who?

I will be going with a squad of about 45 other people, and we will break into smaller teams of about 5-7.

Where will I go?

I will be traveling to Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.

When?

Starting in January of 2019, I will set out on an amazing adventure for 11 months.

It’s going to be an amazing year of sharing Jesus love, serving others, getting out of my comfort zone and traveling the world!

Prayers would be greatly appreciated as I prepare for launch and if you feel like helping financially, that would be greatly appreciated as well!
