They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so hopefully this picture post will get me out of trouble for not posting many blogs this past month!

As an Early Christmas present, I was given a new camera by my parents to replace the one that broke while I was in Guatemala, and I have been running around taking pictures of everything and trying to learn to use it since I got it.  Here are some of the pictures I took while we were still in Thailand, hopefully some of you photography pros out there could give me some pointers…

While prayer-walking the University campus across from YWAM in Bangkok, I stopped to take a few pictures.
The grass caught everyone’s attention, as we haven’t seen too much grass since we left home.

The University campus has two great-big ponds that the students sit around as they study.

Since the Race began, I have been making a concentrated effort to enjoy the beauty of everything God has created.
This reminded me of something you would see at an amusement park, not necessarily an University Campus
At the Market in Bangkok you could buy a bouquet of flowers for like 50 cents! If flowers were this cheap back in the states men probably would buy them more often.  Matthew and I decided to buy some for the women of Team Jubilee on Christmas.

While exploring the market we tried all kinds of fruits and things we had never seen before.  Can anyone tell me what these are called in English?

While riding a boat down the river in Bangkok we got a view of some of the slums.

When the Buddhist people of Bangkok toss coins in these metal buckets at the temple they make a clinking noise so everyone can know that you gave some money.

Idols, built by human hands, need a little assistance doing some everyday tasks. It’s kind of embarrassing.

We asked our Tuk Tuk driver to race the Tuk Tuk next to us at the stoplight.  He took it very seriously.

It wasn’t real gold. Rent isn’t cheap in Bangkok.

A little resting place, on the hike up to the top of the Golden temple.

Bells at one of the many temples in Bangkok, I’m not sure of their significance.

Night Bizarre in Chiang Mai, prior to Christmas.
