Tips and tricks
Google translate let’s you download languages offline.
Wet wipes are easier to pack and last way longer than tp ( toss some in a ziplock and put it in your pocket on travel days and long ministry days ).
If Asia is in your route wait tell then to get good knock offs.
Don’t buy expensive gear.
Don’t over pack you’ll want to buy stuff in the country’s.
I used the post office in Thailand and I shipped 6 kilos for 30 usd took 3 months to get home but I wasn’t gonna be home for 6 so worth it.
Got questions app works wonders for bible info when u don’t have WiFi.
Download some kids songs for teaching.
Have 2-3 sermons written for your go to’s.
You can download the map on google maps to use offline.
Download some movies to watch on long busses ( get a usb- to iPhone flash drive ).
Use stuff sacks instead of packing cubes.
Don’t bring to much of extras your teammates will and you can pick it up when they drop it.
Only get 2 months worth of malaria meds I got 3 and have two left.
I used notes as my journal.
Small note book and a pack of bics pens comes in handy.
Use rubber bands to keep your soap closed on travel days.
A small thing of rope comes in handy for make shift hammock straps or clothes line.
If your debating on bringing something don’t you’ll live without.
Use Air drop for sharing stuff
