Dear Family and Friends,
Greetings. I hope this finds you well. It has been quite awhile since many of you have had the pleasure of my company or words. I wanted to fill you in on what great changes are happening in my life. A couple months ago, I was looking into making a career change. I have been in the restaurant industry for nearly fifteen years now. I was feeling very discontent and incomplete. I needed a change. I began looking into other career opportunities. During this period of searching, I felt led to look into missions. I came across a mission organization called Adventures in Missions(AIM). They have a one year mission trip called the World Race.
The world Race is an eleven month missionary journey to eleven different countries around the world. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self discovery, the racers and I will partner with local churches and organizations to share the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children forced into prostitution due to human trafficking, and bring the Hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. This trip will be a time of discovery for me and allow God to show me where and what he would have me do in the world. I am called to be His disciple and in doing so, must share the gospel and teach others to do the same. This experience on the World Race is a step on the journey of being a disciple.
I am excited and grateful for this new opportunity God has given me. He will provide for my needs, because I cannot do it alone. I pray that God will use you to achieve this. I am writing to ask that you partner with me in prayer and financially. I must raise $16,285 to provide all my expenses while on the race. The support can be given as a one time gift or a monthly donation. You can choose a monthly amount and a beginning and end date. If 30 people would give $50 a month for 12 months I would have my trip fully funded.
Enclosed is a response card. I ask that you pray and ask how much you can give. Please make checks payable to Adventures in Missions and return the response card with your donation to Adventures in Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA, 30353-4470. Include my name on the response card where asked. AIM will send you a receipt for your donation, which is tax deductible. If you would prefer to donate online, you can by going to my blog at dillonseeley.theworldrace.org. Click the “Support ME” link in the upper left panel and complete your donation as instructed.
I am so excited to enter in this new period in my life and want to share this with everyone. I hope to be blessed in serving others and to be a blessing to you all and those I will serve around the world. Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support.
