Tail spinning through plans, preparations, work, family illness, emotions, struggles that I thought I had gotten past resurface,… life! Everything comes to a sudden stop, the madness end as I am taken back and blessed seeing how God is using so many to support me in prayer and finances. $7,751.00 left to raise!!!! Thank you everyone for your prayers, support and love!!!
So much has happened in the last few months, from being snowed into work more than once, twisting/spraining my ankle (during one of the times I was snowed into work), multiple extreme changes at work, finding a home in a bible study, making a quick trip back to Laramie, WY with my cousin Angela to visit my Grandparents and get a few thing worked out in preparation for the race.
Just when I think I am starting to get things figured out for the summer and I am finally able to feel like I am making progress on preparations to leave in September God reminds me of my life verse “Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps” once again. My plans had me spending the next four months in St. Joe MO working in KS, enjoying the wonderful small group and church that I have been blessed to be a part of in the last few months. God’s plans for me this summer are a little different than mine: Last Sunday my roommate/best friend and I started talking about what I was going to do if she got the promotion/transfer to ND and by Tuesday afternoon I had given my notice at work and started the process of getting everything ready to move. I am constantly surprised at how fast God make major changes in my life, and the overwhelming peace that He provides me in times like these. Don’t get me wrong my brain is going a million miles a minute trying to figure everything out, and simply grasp the concept that I am moving yet again, but through it I keep thinking how my hope is in Him and my home is where He has me until I am at home with Him in Heaven.
The weekend of May 24th I will be moving with Tawny to ND to see what God has planned for my summer. I will inform everyone of my new address when I know what it is 🙂 or you can always get ahold of me through my “secretary” (Lonna my sister).
