What is your favorite season and why? Winter! Mainly for the snow, I love the way it covers everything and makes it beautiful! Oh and don’t forget all of the wonderful winter sports!!!!
Where is the coolest place you’ve ever been? Austria! From the minute the train crossed the border I was in love with it, I love the people, architecture, alps,… there is just soooo much to love! I was blessed in being able to live there for 3 month at Taurenhof (part of Torch Bearers Ministries) in Schladming! Everyone there was like family! I often consider moving back.
What is your favorite iPhone (or subpar alternative) app? I would have to go with the Kindle and Bible app because I love to read and since I always have my phone on me I am able to stop and read when ever I have a minute or two! Dropbox, soundhound and whatever photo app I am into for the week 😉
What was your favorite food when you were a child? I don’t know that I had a favorite food, I have always loved pizza and chocolate so lets go with those!!! 😀
What’s your favorite food now? Well I work for a food service and there are just sooooo many good things to eat that I don’t know if I could choose….. but lately I have really been enjoying Bacon Maple CUPCAKES with cream cheese frosting!!!! Oh! and don’t forget Dark Chocolate!!!!
What is your biggest pet peeve? Well I think people just being lazy, refusing to think walking supper slow in the middle of the road when there is a perfectly good side walk to walk on and there are a number of cars waiting…
Do you have any strange habits/quirks? Well when I get to work the first think I do is wipe down my desk, phone and computer. I can’t stand a messy desk so if you put something on it I will put it away without even realizing it within a few minutes of it being there. I randomly get distracted and just walk off… I really have to many quirks to go into detail about… hang out with me for a few minutes and you will see 🙂
If 10 of your friends were asked to describe you in one word, what would be the most common response? Dedicated, purposeful,crazy (I hope in a good way hahaha 😉
What is one of your favorite quotes? I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities. – Dr. Seuss
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Outdoor, there are a lot, riding motorcycles, walking, snowboarding,… it all depends on the weather, where I am and what is available! Indoor…. ummm Nerf wars!!! hahaha
What is your favorite fast food restaurant? Chipotle!
What is your favorite form of exercise? Spinning (indoor cycling),walking, swimming…..
What is your favorite sound: A thunderstorm when the power is out and all you can hear is the poring rain and thunder crashing around you!
What is your favorite smell? A clean house and a fresh baked pie coming out of the oven.
If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? I think it would be fun to walk around and talk to people making them wonder if they were going crazy, mainly friends so we could laugh about it later.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? I don’t know, I have so many nicknames that I really don’t need to change my name lol.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why? My Great Grandpa Kolp because I would love too meet the man that meant so much to my Grandpa. And Robert Capa the famous war photographer.
If you had a movie made of your life, what celebrity would you want to play you? Irene Dunne!
What do you want to be when you grow up? …. I don’t know….. do I have to grow up?
What do you like to do in your free time? Drive, ride, walk, read, photograph, play with photos, talk naps in the sun….. lots of things!
If you had to eat the same thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cup cakes! LOL not really, probably maple brown sugar oatmeal with granola sprinkled on top after you cooked the oatmeal in cream.
What is your favorite beverage? Water or Coffee!!!
What is your favorite childhood memory? Well there are so many that it is hard to chose but I would have to say that one of the top one is when my dad packed up the big wheels and we rode them out past the cement plant in Laramie, or when we hunted wild strawberries while making forts instead of helping with the firewood like we were supposed to (the four of us got into a lot over the years).
What’s the thing you’re most scared of regarding the World Race? I don't know that any stand out, though it will be hard being so far away from my grandparents and family.
What is your favorite movie/show/book? Movie- Die Hard, Indiana Jones, The Count Of Monte Cristo, My Favorite Wife (with Cary Grant). Shows – NCIS- Big Bang – Firefly. Book – Illusion by Frank Peretti, or BoneMan’s Daughters by Ted Dekker (among many others by both writers).
If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be? An Eagle!
What is your favorite sport to play/watch? Most winter sports like snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling,….. Really depend on who I am with….
