I want to take a snapshot of myself- a picture in words- to describe to all of you who I am and what I am about. I could tell you that I’ll be a graduate of college with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, that I lived in Washington all my life before I moved to a small Christian University in Spring Arbor, MI, or that I want to travel the world and this opportunity seems like a dream come true. But those are all minor details of my life compared to what my purpose is. So I wrote a mission statement to encompass all that I want to be about:
To love God first, To care for others even in my hardest times, To be a light during dark days, To model Jesus’ character, To strive for perfection in all that I do, To use my talents to change others, To challenge myself, To show love to orphans and abandoned children, To be a friend of all and an enemy of none, To do all that I can for the glory of God, To set others on fire for Christ, To lead a structured lifestyle, To trust in God with everything, To listen and learn from others, To never stop dreaming, To change a life, This is my mission statement.
