MUSIC.
There's something special about it.
Whether your jamming out with your windows down and laughing with your best friend, when your in a dome full of college students worshiping God or when you hear that one song that just changes your day entirely. Music is able to reach some of the deepest parts of our souls. Well mine at least.
I'm straight up obsessed with it. For as long as I can remember I've always have music playing in the background. Either coming from my iPod, computer, a radio, TV, or anything I am able to play music off of. During all four years of high school and my first two during college my iPod never left me. It was always on. Yes, I was that kid that sat in the back of the class with their headphones in. Don't judge. It became my BIGGEST security blanket. It healed me, comforted me, was my friend. Until I started my relationship with Christ. Since getting back from training camp, I find myself listening more and more to music or putting my headphones in. I'm still totally depending of God but like I said before. There's just something special about music. From the beat of the drum or the chords of the guitar or maybe I'm just in love with my new iPod (thanks Aunt Alexis!) There's just something about it. I don't know what but it's magical. But to the point of the story. I wanted to share with y'all my pre-world race playlist. Maybe they can help get through whatever you're going through right now. Just like they are helping me! Here are some of the songs. Enjoy.
