Body of Christ- the embodiment of Christ! The person of Jesus through Holy Spirit in human beings. We aren’t praying to a God out there somewhere to come but He has come into us and told us to go therefore. You have a sphere of influence you have been called to be the light in. That makes you a leader. You have the ability to influence. We aren’t followers of man or called to sit on a pew only, we come together to worship, to stir each other up in love and much more and then go! We are called to be the light.. to lead in our realm of influence. To be the light on the streets, in our families, in stores, at jobs, churches- everywhere! John 1:4-5, in Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

Every person you meet is a divine appointment! It’s time to quit “playing it safe”. All of creation is waiting for the revealing of the children of God (Romans 8:19) We are Sons and Daughters.. They are waiting for us to walk in that. Jesus never tried to be the Son of God, He was and lived from that place! It’s time to stop striving to be who He has already called us! What He has already paid the price for us to walk in! The fullness of Christ! Every person you see is a Son or Daughter too, they may just not know it yet. How will they know unless we tell them? Unless we share this good news with them? Will we call forth the ones in darkness into His marvelous light?

I have several stories throughout my day about people who experience Jesus through my life. Just today I was walking alone to the field here in Nepal where we have been building. I came to one of my favorite places here with an amazing view, it’s so peaceful and decided to sit on a ledge, headphones blaring “How Great Thou Art” and just breathing in the moment with Papa. I saw a man and woman walking up a dirt path and greeted them, taking my headphones out. I asked if they wanted to sit with me and I shared my water with them. (It was pretty hot and it was uphill walking) Simple acts of love that become so natural as we become love! (We are loved and called to be love!) We got introduced, the man spoke pretty good English. Found out the man had hurt his knee so I asked if I could pray for it. He let me. His knee felt better. His wife who is a devout hindu lady had pain throughout her whole body and no peace she said. I asked if I could pray for her. She asked if I had muscle rub.. I thought about Peter and John at the gate called beautiful, silver and gold have we none but what we do have we give to you, in the name of Jesus walk! Haha.. So, muscle rub have I none but what I do have I give to you! (Ha) So I told her I had something better than muscle rub! As I prayed declaring healing and peace, she felt such peace over her body and mind, such comfort after! Her face lit up! It was such a beautiful moment! I told them about Jesus and His love for them. They smiled taking in every word. The man thanked Jesus for His love. And we will be meeting again this week because they are hungry to learn more. You see, I didn’t go “looking” or go on outreach not that there’s anything wrong with that but We can so live our lives as outreach.. Everyday. He’s our very next breath, our very heart beats for Him, for His people.

We are called to be in deep communion with Father all day, every day. Living full and poured out for the world around us. If we are burnt out, if we try to do it on our own we will have nothing to give but when we become so possessed with Holy Spirit, in deep communion with Father all day, when we understand and walk in the fullness of Christ then we will live full and be able to pour out.

In Matthew 25 Jesus tells a parable that is likened unto the Kingdom of Heaven. He speaks about the ones who were prepared with the oil and the ones who only had just enough. I believe He is looking for a people today who will live prepared with their lives everyday. To live full and overflowing! When you squeeze a lemon you get lemon juice- when we are squeezed are they getting Jesus?

The Kingdom is now! Will we stop for Him everyday as He fills us and from
that place live our lives to be poured out for the world to receive? It’s time to stop compartmentalizing Him. Will you live so surrendered that He is your schedule instead of trying to fit Him into certain areas of your day or life? What will we do with what we have been given Body of Christ, Beloved? Freely give what has been given to us? The world is hungry for truth, for love. And we have hidden this treasure from them for far to long. Don’t be like the servants in Matthew 25 who hid the talents.. Be the ones who invest what we have in others!
