So, once again, something strange happend to something I wrote.
Originally I had already written this post…but much like a lot of random things that have been happening, the post some how it got deleted. Do I think it is random, these occurances? No,not really. Strange stuff has been happening like this since I comitted to the race.
Phone calls from international numbers in South America, writings and letters disappearing off computers and thumb drives. I would be kind of creeped out or distracted if it were not for knowing God will ultimately get everything lined up. Just as strange counteracting things have been happening, great random wonderful things have been occurring too. This weekend I shared my testimony to a church that dropped out of no where. I have never spoken in front of a crowd of people before and this church opened their pulpit for me to speak. Even though I had never met these people and it was my first time ever in the church, I felt a sense of peace as I stood up and begun to share my testimony. My speach was greeted with amens, joyful noise, and praise to God. I looked at all the people I had never met before and with a smile called them my family. Because I knew we served the same Father. I have never done that before, share my testimony to a group of people. Be vulnerable and open to people. There are amazing things that happens in that vulnerability. People who once never knew you begin to support your most prized and treasured calling. They rally up to see the kingdom of God flourish. I actually enjoyed sharing my testimony with people. I find this part of evangelism to be one I am at great peace with and hope to speak to even larger groups.
Well, we hope this blog doesn’t disappear, none the less… Words of advice, don’t be surprised when fulfilling your calling causes really odd things to happen… Just keep going. Pay no mind to the things that stop the gospel. Continue on my friends….
Let God be the judge of me
But before I leave
Tie a rope around my waist
So when I am on my face
Face on the floor
You can drag me out
Look at me in the eyes
And see burning passion
Because I saw the face of God
