I’d Like to begin by saying THANK YOU for stopping by my blog! The purpose of this blog is to keep all my wonderful supporters up to date on my goings on before during, and maybe even after my race, to let ya’ll know how and where to donate and let you experience a bit of what I’m experiencing through my posts. God has given me a path to follow and I intend to follow it, for “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” but all of your love and support will certainly make the trip easier so again, thank you.
So… what exactly is the World Race?
It’s an 11 month mission trip which will take me to 11 different countries to serve ‘the least of these’. Not only will I serve and work to make the world a better place through my experiences on this journey, but it will also serve to grow me as a person and as a Christian like I’ve never done before. Just a few of the task I will be participating in while on the race include VBS’ church plants, building houses, helping in orphanages, ministering to prostitutes, working with gypsies, feeding the poor, healing the sick and so much more.
Now, where exactly are you going?
UPDATE: Starting in JANUARY 2016 and ending in November 2016, I will spend a month in each of the following countries, in order:
- Peru
- Ecuador
- Colombia
- Montenegro
- Bulgaria
- Albania
- Nepal
- India
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Cambodia
So… what can I do to help?
1. I NEED prayer, more than I need anything else. This is a mission to further the kingdom of God, I cannot do that without prayer warriors here at home supporting my teammates and I as we travel around the world.
2. I wish I didn’t have to ask, but I need money! The World Race costs $16,962.00 which covers food, supplies, lodging, transportation, and insurance while on the Race. I will also register at REI for gear for the trip, or if you have any gear you think I could use or that you would like to get for me please let me know, I would be more than happy to put it to good use! I will post about gear soon so ya’ll will know exactly what I need! As for monitory donations I know that not everyone is able to, or feels called to mission work, but I also know that many people want to help and be a part of mission work none the less… here is your opportunity. Though you may not be able to travel with me, you will be able to see your money being put to good use throughout my posts. Just remember even a dollar will help so don’t feel obligated to give beyond your means, and when in doubt, pray about it!

My deadlines to meet are as follows:
$3,900 by September 25th
$10,000 by December 18th (must have to leave for the Race)
$13,000 by February 29th (must have to stay on the Race after month 2)
$16,962 by April 29th (must have to stay on the Race after month 4)

I can’t believe this is what God is calling me to do… it amazes me every day but I can’t wait to get out there and be a part of something bigger than myself, to reach people who have never been reached before and to get to share it with you.
