Hey ya’ll and welcome to my blog! My name is Devan Daniel and I am from Camden, Tennessee. You know the kind of town that only has one red light and everyone gives directions like “take a left at Granny’s apple tree then it’ll be on your right past the big rock” (ha ha). I maybe from a small town but I have a big personality and a huge heart. So I will start out with 10 facts about me.
1. I love to laugh…if laughing could be an occupation, then I would be President.
2. I love to be outdoors! Fishing, riding four-wheelers, mudding, volleyball, you name it and I will at least try it once.
3. I am one of the worst drivers in America. Yeah, I’m the person that gets honked at a lot.
4. My ultimate man crush is Jimmy Fallon. No explanation needed there.
5. I was born on Halloween. Weird. I know.
6. I like to talk in accents. Hey, when you’re from a small town you have to do things to pass the time.
7. I have intense jam sessions. I love to sing, whether its in the car, in the shower, or in the middle of conversations. Sometimes I just get the urge.
8. I go with the flow. It drives my parents crazy, but I am not a planner to say the least. I live spontaneously.
9. I have a younger brother named Heath. He is 13 and I am 22. There’s a big age difference, but he is truly my best friend. I love him to death and would do anything for him.
10. I am a student at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and will be graduating with a degree in Electronic Media Management with a concentration in Communicational Studies.
To my fellow racers:
I would just like to say how excited I am to meet all of you. This is a journey that will bond us together for the rest of our lives. I just want all of you to know that I am a very kind hearted person. I joke a lot, but throughout this journey just know if any of you need anything….that I will be there for you. I love you all so much already and can’t wait to see what God has in store for us!
