Hey my name is Destiny and I’m super excited about participating in World Race Semesters. Im 18 years old and I recently graduated high school this past May. I am from Fayetteville, North Carolina and currently attending the community college here. I am suppose to write about what makes me, me but, I am not very good at describing myself so I asked some of my friends what they thought. This is how they described me, they said that I am outdoorsy, kinda quiet but kinda outgoing, an adventure seeker, passionate, selfless, and kind. I do know my passion is to help people and participate in mission endeavors. The first ever mission I participated in was during my senior year of high school. During the trip and the following months after, I was felt led to continue spreading God’s love to people in other countries who aren’t as blessed as I am, living in the states. So I prayed for God to show me a sign that this is what He wanted me to do while I was at a conference in Georgia. Well sure enough, I walked out of the stadium and there it was, a World Race booth – I believe that was a strong message from God.
