Hey there from across the world, where cows run down the streets, your life is in jeopardy crossing the road, and bucket baths make you gasp and yell. I wanted to share with you all 11 pictures that sum up well my first 11 days away from home. In some ways it seems like we may have already been gone 11 weeks but the fact that my clothes are all still relatively clean and I still have empty journals and letters from home that are longing to be opened remind me that it in fact has only been 11 days. After 3 days of travelling we arrived high up in the hills of the Manipur region of India where it is surprisingly cold. Our contact and his team had built a huge tent made of beautiful blankets and bamboo that can easily host all of us for meal times. We are together as a squad this month and it has been a wonderful time of bonding and fun. We are still trying to adjust to the time change and you can find most of us in bed by 7:30.

**At this moment I cannot seem to upload my pictures via my blog, find me on Facebook or instagram and hopefully some will be there!!

The ministry we have taken part in so far has been diverse and very enjoyable. We did some construction work at the hospital where we shoveled rocks into bags and then used a pulley system to pull them to the roof of the hospital. It was hard work but we enjoyed working alongside the locals. We packed blankets at the hospital for a team to take to some remote villages on their way to a village that had never heard the Gospel before and the next day we helped do “crowd control” at a ministry that had over 2,000 kids at it. Tomorrow each team will travel to different villages to partake in their church service and next week we will also spread out into different villages to put on vacation bible school. We will also have the opportunity to go out with a medical truck and distribute medical supplies to villages that have yet to be reached with the Gospel. I am extremely excited about all the opportunities that we have while we are here!

Celebrate!!

~we arrived here safely

~our contact is amazing, there is much to be done and many kinds of work that we can participate in

~All of our luggage made it to India in one piece

Pray!

~A weird virus that a few of us got at training camp back in October and it took about a month and a half to feel 100% has seemed to rear its head again not only in me but in a few squad mates.

~the allergy struggle is real, if my allergies can make it through India, I am sure I won’t ever have allergy problems again in my entire life.

~that our time here would be incredibly fruitful and that we would all continue to adjust to life overseas

I am still about $6,200 from meeting my ultimate financial deadline, will you pray about partnering with me to preach the Gospel to the nations and be His hands and feet to those in need?
