A Hurting Heart…
As most of you know, I have returned home safely from my 11 month mission trip, (www.derekbegin.theworldrace.org), which was life-changing for me! Since my return, I have been home resting, visiting family & friends and seeking GOD for what HE has in store for me next. “What’s that?” you may be asking.
Well…to be honest, I really don’t have any clear direction other than trying to get a job and praying that GOD would show me where & what HE wants me to be & do. I can say that GOD has been challenging me a lot in my own walk with HIM and in my own personal life right now. During the last couple of months GOD, through a sister in CHRIST, has revealed to me that I have a lot of walls, fears, pains & hurts that I have not personally dealt with from my past, which has now caught up with me and has tossed me into a tailspin and affecting me a lot. And if I don’t deal with it now, it will continue to affect me and many other relationships in the future. As I trust in GOD and as a result of this, I am planning on seeking counsel from a ministry called Transformed Hearts Ministries, which is located in Post Falls, Idaho.Please take some time to check it out at www.transformedheartsministries.com Just as I went out to help many people physically & spiritually on my 11 month mission trip, GOD has shown me that I am the one who now needs help in regards to seeking help in order to live in complete wholeness and aliveness in CHRIST!
My projected date for leaving is as soon as I can…raising all the funds & scheduling the needed counseling. It is humbling & hard for me to write & share this with you, but I know that I can’t do this by myself. GOD never intended us to be an island unto ourselves, so I am asking for your help, both prayerfully & financially. I know seeking this counsel through Transformed Hearts Ministries is where I need to go in order to bring healing to my wounded heart and will allow me to walk in wholeness of who GOD has truly intended me to be as HIS beloved child! The question is…will you help me so I can get complete healing emotionally & spiritually in my own life? And who knows how GOD will use this in order for me to help others that are also struggling with the same or similar areas. Whatever or however you can help is so much appreciated- thanks!
