Hello, I am Denise. I currently work at Pensacola Christian College. I have always been interested in missions and learning more about that, and different cultures. Some of the things I enjoy doing are taking walks, reading, and being involved in music, whether that is playing the piano, or singing in a choir. I heard about the World Race through posts I saw on facebook. It looked like a very interesting opportunity. At first I was planning on applying for a job opportunity I heard about that was in Japan; however, I was questioning in my head whether this was the next best step for me. After months of looking into it, and praying, one day I thought about the World Race, and realized, “hmmm this looks like a much better fit.” After chit chatting with the friend on facebook about it, and a World Race Alumni, I decided to go ahead and apply. This journey that I have embarked on does not look like an easy one, but for sure a worth while one!
