Howdy!
My name is Denise Marquez, I am from a small town in Southeastern New Mexico. I currently work as a reporter for a newspaper called the Hobbs News-Sun, and I’m a graduate student at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M. hoping to get a master’s degree in mental health counseling.
I have amazing an amazing family which include my parents Angie and Lencho, one incredible younger brother Damian and three fur-babies Romeo, a shih tzu, Rogue, a toy Australian shepherd and Roxie, a mini Australian shepherd.
I enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on, I’m a huge Harry Potter, Star Wars and Batman fan, I love sports — football, soccer, baseball … and I love, love, love movies.
I was born and raised Catholic and grew up learning about God’s love and His good word. I am thrilled to answer God’s calling to join the World Race and cannot wait to share the adventures that lie ahead, with you.
