Well hello Word Race World, Friends, and Family,
It has been one month already that we have been home from the World Race. So here is a little update on whats been going on since we have been home.
PREGNANCY: Oh my we are so excited. We found out a couple weeks after we came home that we are expecting our first baby at the end of March. I’m almost eight weeks now. That really is the biggest news.
PROVISION: God has for sure provided for us since we have been home. We are only in need of $600 left in our support account. We have already been offered a free crib, crib mattress, and possibly a pack and play. We have been able to pay all our bills even though we don’t have jobs yet. Our families and friends have opened up their homes for us and are feeding us and the baby very well. We are so thankful.
PROMISES: The other day I was walking and praying. I was feeling very down. Feeling guilty that I wasn’t doing much. I had my rest, now it was time to get moving and do some ministry. God told me very clearly that my purpose is to worship him and that I didn’t need to feel guilty for not being active in doing something ALL THE TIME. And then he very clearly told me that he would bring me ministry. He was sure right. Within 24 hours, a missionary in Cambodia contacted me about some work I can do for him while I am home. At the same time my friend called and told me about a single mom with a very sick baby that needed help. Mike and I have been able to love her and help her out by babysitting, cleaning and grocery shopping. Her baby is having surgery today. God kept his promise. He brought me ways to love and i couldn’t be more thankful.
That is all for now. Please keep the mother and her baby in your prayers as he is having brain surgery today. We are also moving in a few weeks to Ohio. Please pray for the move and transition. We are SOOOOOO EXCITED to go there.
