I really think that this song says it all. Where is the love? We all know that there are many things wrong with the world, so what can we do to help? It never does us any good to sit around and complain. What is it that keeps us, society at large, from taking even just one step towards helping someone. Donating to a cause, spending time at a homeless shelter or a nursing home, investing in a family or a child that can barely make ends meet? I know the entire world is full of hunger, pain, torment, and corruption: and North America is part of the world. The USA needs just as much help, just as much love as any other country that exists; it just needs it differently. We have to stop expecting someone else to show the love and fix the problem. So, where is your love?
