Street evangelism, can be one of the most intimidating activities for many people. Street evangalism is when a person or group of people walk around a community and attempt to engage the people they encounter in a conversation about their beliefs (for us on the world race, it’s about Jesus).

Usually, the idea of street evangelism makes me ridiculously uncomfortable because I’m not always a very forward person about my beliefs, and I enjoy building relationships with people more than I do throwing Jesus at them. However, in this culture of the community I am staying in now, it is not uncommon.

It’s amazing to me the courage, love and faith that people have when they are comfortable and able to just walk around and tell people about their beliefs. For a group of people to love something soo much that all they want to do is share it with those around them. It could be about anything really, animal rights, parenting, healthy eating, education, or anything really. To just have the faith and courage in your beliefs to share them to other people without hesitation, to not be concerned with how someone else is going to view you after they hear about your beliefs, to just be bold and share; it leaves me in awe.
