During the week one of the locals
wanted to take us to a waterfall and let us see some of the country
side!! We were totally stoked! We got the moto bikes ready and
started off our beautiful sunny adventure day.
After about an hour we got to the top
of this beautiful look out area. It was like we were in the Lion King
🙂
Then he pointed to the waterfall that
he wanted us to walk to, it was really far away. After an hour walk
we were there
.
We met some people that we evangelized
with.
And then it happened, the sky turned
from bright blue to gray as began our ascent up the hill. BY the time
we reached the top it was pouring rain. Lamar, Joe and I took shelter
under a rock, while the other girls were in someone’s hut. After an
hour or so the rain stopped and it was time to begin the journey
home. It turns out that muddy roads are not the safest raods for moto
bikes to travel on. We were slip sliding away. A few times we had to
get off of the moto bikes and walk for a while because it was too
much for the bikes to handle.
Finally we arrived home, soaking wet
and freezing cold! 
Cariss made us tea, we changed into dry
clothes, grabbed our sleeping bags, and turned the pastor’s office
into our personal movie theatre!
