Hello!! I suppose I should write a few things about myself…
My name is Demi and I live in Tomball, Texas! Right now I am working at Woodlands Church and am also doing their seminary program! Within the seminary program, I am currently working as an intern in their missions department. (which is a total dream come true because I want to be a missionary) I also have another job at an after school program at an elementary school in the area where I help the kiddos with their homework, mentor them, and hang out and play with them! Which I love because it’s a daily reminder to have a childlike faith.
I love reading, and I recently took a new interest in writing. I also especially enjoy travelling! (which is one reason why the World Race is a great fit for me) I’ve been all over the US, California, Boston, New York, Florida, Chicago, and more that I cannot think of right now. I’ve also been to Spain, Jamaica, Australia, Canada (where I was actually born), and Ecuador. So I am super stoked for my World Race journey around the world!!
I only have one brother, and he’s exactly two years older than me. Fun fact, we were born on the same day two years apart. One other precious jewel in my life is Piper. She’s a really cute toy poodle and she just recently celebrated her first birthday 🙂 (hopefully she remembers me when I come home after the race :/ ) then of course my lovely parents. They’re pretty cool too. 🙂
