prayer is dangerous.

a year ago i found myself face down in church calling out to God desperately. I give up I told him, the way i have been doing things is not working so I am going to do this your way.

Giving God the reigns of your life is a dangerous thing to do. I would not recommend doing so unless you are ready to see your life flipped inside out and upside down. One year ago I was giving up my life, devoting it to what God has destined for me, and today I find myself sitting on stage of an Indian church, listening to them banging on tambourines and worshiping in their native tongue.

God’s plan for my life was so miraculously different from anything that I ever could have imagined.

so far I have:Given my testimony to two different rooms full of people, making myself venerable to complete strangers.

Ridden standing up in the back of a dump truck, while looking at the most amazing stars. You can see the entire milkyway almost every night here.

Cast out a demon in a possessed woman at one of the churches we were visiting.

seen so much trash. there is trash everywhere here. They have no trash cans, because their trash can is their back yard, or the road, or the big field by their houses. everywhere you look there is so much trash, and when you come from a place where it is almost taboo to throw trash on the ground, it is hard to adjust to throwing all your trash right out the window.

Experienced prayer on crack, we prayed over 30+ houses and all their residences, while still playing with the village children that were following us around all in under three hours.

Held a baby goat!! There was this week old baby goat in a pen right next to the church, and I looked over at Isaac (our amazing translator) and go ‘awwww! look at that baby goat!” next thing i know he is running over to the pen and taking out their baby goat, and bringing it to me! (apparently it is completely normal for strangers to just go into your animal pen and take your animals, because no one stopped him) next thing i know I was holding baby herman and I fell very much in love with him.

Found out how I am going to get my feature husband! Me and allison have a plan! you simply walk up to the boy of your dreams, and go ‘…. soooooo….. this is awkward…. but God told me that we are going to get married….. so you should probably think about that….’ haha

God has healed more people then we can count through me and my teammates. From things like tumors, to broken wrists, to knee pains.

Been stared at more then i ever have in my entire life. Literally everywhere we go not just eyes, but entire faces turn to stare at us. We even collect crowds. the other night we were standing on the side of the road waiting for our ride, when next thing we know like five different motorcycles full of guys have stopped and parked right in front of us, just so they could stare at us. The men worry us girls sometimes. We were in an Auto (yellow buggy like thing that has no doors) and it was stopped in the middle of town so that isaac could give the driver directions, when next thing we know our entire auto was surrounded by more then 20 men, all trying to shake hands with us girls, and getting all up in our faces, and obviously talking about us to one anther. It was very uncomfortable.

Seen so many animals wander around aimlessly. There are pigs, and goats, and cows and water buffalo, and dogs all wandering around everywhere. They just walk down the middle of the road eating trash and laying in the sewers. this one time there was a cow laying in the middle of the road, it was like “hi, I’m a cow, and I’m just chilling here”

Am starting to form almost a superiority complex because of the way natives treat us here. For example the other day were were waiting on our ride and Isaac goes “When i asked him for a ride he said ‘no no no, oh, its for americans? ok I’ll be right there.’ haha
