Last month during worship a couple of our teams did an exercise, where we prayed and asked God to open our hearts to truths that he wanted to speak to us, and then we wrote a letter from the Father to us, with what He was telling us. This is the letter He wrote to me. I hope it brings you as much encouragement as  it brought me.

My beautiful Dove,

Look how much you have grown. I have walked with you, guided you, and sometimes even carried you, but you are exactly where I want you to be. I have so much to show you, and so much to tell you, but don't hurry away what you are experiencing right now. Everything is done in my perfect timing. You can not change things in your timing, nor see the things that you want changed in your timing, because my timing is perfect. I am bringing you through things in the order that I have chosen. You are like a beautiful flower in bloom, you surely can't expect the inner peddles to bloom before the outer ones. In the same way you can't expect yourself to experience things and see things that you are not yet ready for.

Be encouraged however that you are not the same woman that you once were. I have taken your hand, and am drawing you deeper, leading you closer. I am a potter, and you are my clay. Under my hands I am molding you and forming you, and what I am forming is beautiful and without blemish. With new eyes you will see, with new lips you will speak, and with a new heart you will love. A new song will come from you. A song of love and grace. With each step authority will ripple out from you. I will give you a new song, which you will sing without shame or doubt. A song that will cast out fear and doubt, and will be stronger then your own voice. For it will be a song that I have placed on your lips to be proclaimed for the rest of your days.

Forever yours,

The apple of my eye you will ever be.
