John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Because of the widespread knowledge of this verse I believe that a lot of people write off its meaning, and under appreciate the promise behind it.
I was one of these people.
After growing up memorizing bible verses my entire life, I found John 3:16 over used, and childish. I stopped thinking about the meaning of the verse long ago, stopped listening anytime someone recited it, and instead thought 'ug! not this verse again!'. That was when i cam across this Amazing short film.
This Film takes John 3:16 and explains it in a way that we can relate to. It makes God's pain, and Jesus's sacrifice so much more understandable, and relatable.
This movie had me crying like a little baby at the Love that God has for us; the love that is spoken of in John 3:16… If you know me at all then you know that I am not one to cry easily. Crying, it seams is just not my way of dealing with emotions. This film however took me from my comfort zone, and left me with tears streaming down my face… every time I watch it (I have seen it a total of five times now, and every single time I am more moved then before.)
I know that this movie is a little long, but I BEG that you watch it. This is one of the most moving films I have ever seen, and if I had my way EVERYONE would watch it. So I beg that you take 20 minutes out of your busy day to stop and realize what God has done for YOU.
You won't regret it.
