So it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve updated, but I’ve been asked to. Not much has happened. I’m currently sitting at around $5400. Which means I still need about $4600 more before my December 18th deadline of $10,000 and a little over $11000, to be fully funded. Remember all donations are tax deductible on this website so feel free to donate here or talk to your friends about donating on my behalf if they would like to have something tax deductible come time to file for taxes.
Training Camp!!!
I am getting ready to head out to training camp on Monday the 12th. Or I guess I should say, I’m headed to Salem on the 12th, last minute shopping on the 13th, and then I fly out from Portland (PDX) to Atlanta, Georgia (ATL) on The 14th, where I will get to spend some time with a few of my D-Squad mates before we go to camp on the 15th.
Training camp will last from the 15th to the 25th, at which time I will be crashing at a squad members house and then flying back to PDX on the 26th. Where I will drive up to La Grande and continue working and living life until its time to Launch in January.

As far as fundraising goes, you can still donate through my blog here…or send in a check to the address listed on my Support Letter blog. Those donations are tax deductible.
You may also donate through gofundme.com/deedeepeters and the money will help support what’s left of gear costs (though I have most everything I need for the trip) as well as any costs that might occur while I’m on the field.
You can also donate through paypal, and search for my e-mail [email protected]. Money donated here will help offset costs on the field, as well as be transferred to my AIM account as needed to make sure I’m reaching all my financial goals.
East Salem SDA Vespers- On November 14th, my sister Jo will be hosting a worship vespers at East SDA church in Salem, Oregon. Come and enjoy, don’t feel like you have to donate, just come and enjoy the company of your fellow Christians. Also, please don’t feel like you have to be SDA to attend, all are invited. Donations will be accepted, all donations will go towards supporting me and my World Race Mission Trip. On a side note, this may also be the last time I’m able to make it to Salem before I launch to see people, so if you would like to stop by just to say Goodbye feel free to do so. I will let you all know what time when I find out.
I’m hoping to also be able to schedule some time of potluck or get together after church at First Baptist Church (FBC) of La Grande…however, I still need to talk to the church and find out what weekend will work bets with them.
Anyways, I think that’s about it for now. I will keep you guys updated as things continue happening. That being said, it will be at least two weeks before I can post agian. Sometime after Training Camp.
