Posting this from an Airport coffee shop waiting on the rest of the squad to show up here in Colombia…T-Minus 2 hours or so until I see them 🙂

6/24/16

Dear End of World Race Me,

Hey Dee! Month 6 is over. I can’t believe you’re already halfway done with the race. Only five months left. Satan tried to destroy your journey this month. He tried to tear team SheBrews apart, but you guys didn’t let him. No matter what happens to you in the future…remember that Christ already came to pay the ultimate price and that the battle has already been won, and that Go is the ultimate victorious winner.

This month you were reminded that a big part of who you are is a protector and peacekeeper. But remember that is just a part of who you are. DON’T allow it to become all of you, and where you find your worth. Keep looking to Christ and always be searching for your identity in Him, and fine-tuning it in Him.

Cambodia was a rough month for you; but it taught you about second chances and how they are a good thing; and it taught you that GOD can redeem anything—people, places, things…I want you to remember that in the future; never give up on things, places or people and that if given the chance God can find a way to redeem all things for his Glory.

As I think about your future after the WR there are a few things I want you to remember:

  1. Your life is not yours to live for you; Your life is yours to serve Go and to live for Him. How are you choosing to live your life?
  2. Something you’ve been learning this year  is forgiveness; don’t be quick to harden your heart; be open to forgiveness; give 2nd chances; allow God to redeem the relationships in your life.
  3. NEVER quit searching for Him. Even on your worse day; I want you to continue to search for Him.

Dee, you have an amazing life ahead of you; With Him at the center of it all things are possible, without him nothing is possible. I love you Dee, and I can’t wait to see how you choose to live your life for Him and how He chooses to use you in the future.

Love,

Month 6 Dee
