Dear, End of World Race Me...
Wow! Look at this, here you are 11 months’ later, you survived Who would have thought when you applied back in May 2015 that you would have actually gone and completed the race. Well Caleb did, but again he’s a little biased- said so himself. When this year is over, I want you to look back and see just how far you’ve come. You’ve chosen COURAGE over COMFORT. You chose it when you stepped out and applied for the race, you chose it again when you went to T.C., and again when you actually launched for the race in January. You continued to choose COURAGE over COMFORT when you told Kent you wanted to process your past and you chose courage each time you chose to open yourself up to other people and share your story. Be proud of yourself, you choose to do something not many do. You chose to leave the comfort of your home, to abandon what you knew. You didn’t always know the why, or the how’s, or the who or the when’s, but you did it. You came, you conquered. When you look back on the last year of your life, remember the god times, but also remember the hard ones. Look back at all the new friendships you’ve made; they will be friendships of a lifetime. Remember team times, time of laughter, cry’s, joy and frustration. Remember it all because you’ll never have a chance like this again. God is good. Remember to thank him for not just the big stuff in life, but the little stuff as well. For the little stuff makes the big stuff. NEVER GIVE UP! Life is full of opportunities. God gave you your story, and the World Race is a part of your story now. Be proud of it, be confident, walk with and in God’s love.
