My team and I landed in landed in Cambodia the other night and culture shock and jet lag met us at the gate. Just kidding, our Wonderful host did, the other two woke us up.
We have just finished out first week of ministry here in Cambodia. We have a very unique set up where during the week we are in a unpronounceable province teaching K5 classes and doing any odd jobs and cleaning they may need help with in the morning, and in the afternoon there is an adult bible study that teaches english, and elementary and middle school age english classes. Adore Mission was started by a Brazilian team of about 6 or 7 and their children. It has been such privilege to get to know this sweet community and join together with them and the Cambodian community. we have three language barriers, with Portuguese, English, and Kuhmer. But we all have Jesus and Missions in common!! On the weekend we stay in the home of our Host, and go to his church and spend time with the young adults at the church and teach english to them, and spend time with them anyway we can.

In Cambodia, they call me Deborah, Deb is too short and a hard pronunciation for them, but Deborah is easy so for ministry, they call me Deborah, and I love hearing it with the Cambodian accent.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!! please pray about continuing to support me, I may be on the field but I still have to fundraise!! My first deadline is end of November, I am about 1500 away , Thank you thank you to those who have helped me get this far!! I have been so abundantly blessed. Please for good health on our team, a few of the girls have gotten sick, and for continued unity on the team and with our hosts. Thank you again for your support!
