I am so excited to announce this fundraiser!!
I got to partner with Fundthenations design company and custom design it, and each element of it has a meaning. Steadfast is the key word and my prayer from my “Race verse ” that I mentioned in previous blog post, “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1st Cor. 15:58) . Being steadfast is my prayer for these 11 months.
Mountains because well, to me mountains mean home. The more I travel and the further I leave from the place I grew up I realize how much mountains just signify home to me. Growing up in the blue ridge mountains and growing up climbing up waterfalls and experiencing fall to the ultimate level, left a much bigger impact on me then I ever expected. With it remidning me of home they also remind me of the sheer glory and power of our mighty God in his everlasting goodness and faithfulness to us. He is our rock, our stronghold, and when I think of my fortress I think of mountians.
